Here she comes again
And it’s all the rage
“Hello how’ve you been?”
And it’s all the rage
Here she comes again
And it’s all the rage
“Hey, now where’ve you been?”
And it’s all the rage
All The Rage
Though admittedly, I have told more than a few girls that this song was about them, I must confess, this tune was inspired by and ultimately written for my dog, L. I suppose that still makes it a love song of sorts. Written by teaching myself how to play Travis/Buckingham style guitar playing for the first time, it always seemed to calm L down, though at first it frustrated the hell out of me. Within a couple of weeks, it was in good shape and the lyrics came last. I’ve got two more songs written in this playing style, waiting to be recorded.
Recorded at Scopedelitus Studios in Westerville, there are six tracks of the Turner RS-6 guitar and an army of Napoleon voices. I really like the sort of discordant background vocals as it is one of the few things to come out exactly the way I heard it in my head.
Lyrically, it’s a perfect representation of L. Haven’t you ever been greeted by a dog as if you were the best thing on the planet...all the rage?
